Australia's Best Credit Cards Revealed -- Compare Major Cards and Save

9 June 2006

(PRWEB) June 9, 2006 -- New Australian financial services company, ARTOG.com.au, has launched a free service that will help combat Australia's spiralling credit card debt of $35 billion. ARTOG's online service allows customers to sort, compare and then rank every major credit card in Australia into categories that the customer deems important for their requirements.

«If you find it difficult to pay off your credit card in full every month, ARTOG will tell you which credit card has the lowest interest rate so you can reduce the amount you pay in interest each month,» states ARTOG General Manager, Kevin Sherman. «If you're sick and tired of paying hidden credit card fees, the online service will also tell you which cards have no or low fees. Similarly if you love earning frequent flyer points, ARTOG will tell you which card gives you more bang for your buck, so you can start flying sooner.»

ARTOG is a totally independent organisation and does not favour one credit card provider over another. The website is designed so the user selects the characteristics they are looking for in a credit card – whether that be a super low interest rate, balance transfer, a frequent flyer program, no fees or interest free days. The website then selects the cards that meet the criteria and sorts the cards with the most appropriate at the top of the list.

In line with ARTOG's commitment to delivering a better deal, ARTOG offers customers who apply online for their ‘new improved' card a $20 cash reward paid directly into their new account. ARTOG (http://www.artog.com.au/ArtogCreditCards/Specials.aspx) shares the commission credit card companies pay when customers sign up for a new card through the ARTOG site. However, to assure that customers are getting the best card for their circumstances ARTOG also includes cards for which it does not earn a commission in the pool of credit cards compared.

The ARTOG website also includes sections on how to choose the best card for your circumstances as well as tips and tricks to manage a credit card so it doesn't land you in hot water.
