Credit Card Outlet Now Featuring HSBC Credit Card Applications Online

14 February 2006

Credit Card Outlet has just begun to feature HSBC credit cards on their mother site, http://www.credit-card-outlet.com . They have recognized that HSBC is emerging as a major player on the US consumer credit card market with these two products, the HSBC Cashback or Fly Rewards and the HSBC Platinum MasterCard. It appears as if the HSBC credit card department has done their homework as these cards both feature exactly what US consumers are looking for, low APR's and rewards programs. Because of this, Credit Card Outlet has added these two cards to both their low APR and Rewards Card pages.

These two cards have met their criteria for placement on these pages for the following reasons. The HSBC Platinum Mastercard comes with a 0% introductory APR for 1 year on balances transfers and purchases. After the introductory term, the APR will be as low as 10.24%. Credit Card Outlet realizes that this card compares with American Express Blue. CCO has determined that both cards are similar in that they have 0% introductory APR's. However, American Express Blue then carries a 10.74% APR while the HSBC credit card carries a 10.24% APR. Therefore, the HSBC card should be present on their site.

HSBC's other new credit card, the HSBC Cashback or Fly Rewards Card may also be compared to American Express Blue Cash. Both cards feature a 0% introductory APR. American Express Blue Cash features this APR for a six month term, while the HSBC Cashback or Fly Rewards Card carries it for 1 year. The default APR after these terms are HSBC credit card 10.24%, American Express Blue Cash 11.74%. Both enlist similar rewards programs.

Needless to say, these two new HSBC credit cards are very competitive with perhaps the leading credit card issuer for those with good credit, American Express. As an effort to be the complete consumer credit card information site CCO has included these two card to give consumers more options.

Previously only First Premier Bank cards were featured on CCO catering to those with less than good credit. In order to round out their "rebuild your credit" page, the HSBC Orchard Bank card has been added. This HSBC credit card helps those who traditionally would not get approved for a credit card to obtain and rebuild their credit. The card features a periodic credit increase, low annual fees, and credit education services. CCO has determined that HSBC is becoming one of the leaders in helping the under-served consumer credit population.

Unlike several other credit card issuers, HSBC's credit card department has set-up their application process in a revolutionary manner. Typically, when consumers are rejected by credit card issuers, they have to re-apply for another card by filling out another application. This can be a tedious and somewhat time-consuming process. If you apply for an HSBC credit card, you only have to fill out one application. Then, the HSBC credit card department will direct you to exactly which HSBC credit cards are available to you based on your credit history. You may then choose which card you would like to carry. If you choose the HSBC Cashback or Fly Rewards Card, you will then manage your rewards program by electing either travel or cash rebates. All of this can be done online.

Credit Card Outlet has strived to become a complete credit card information portal. The addition of these HSBC products will give consumers more options and comparisons when making the best credit card selection for their specific needs.

Credit Card Outlet, http://www.credit-card-outlet.com , now features HSBC credit cards as well as over 75 other consumer and small business credit cards.
