Elmira Savings Bank Announces Plans to Open New Branch Office27 April 2006
The Elmira Savings Bank announced today its intention to seek regulatory approval to open a full service branch office in Corning, NY. Michael P. Hosey, President and Chief Executive Officer said, "We are very excited about our expansion into Corning and Steuben County. Although we plan on opening an office, we already have a substantial base of customers in the market." Hosey continued, "We believe expansion into Corning is a logical continuation of our market, which will provide service to our existing Steuben County customers, as well as provide convenience for our many Mansfield, Pennsylvania customers who may commute to Corning, New York. Elmira Savings Bank, FSB with $335 million in total assets, is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is a federally chartered Bank with five offices in Chemung County, New York, one office in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, and a loan center in Tompkins County, NY.
