Freddie Mac to Provide Update on Third Quarter 2005 Performance on December 1, 2005

Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) today announced that the company will hold an investor conference call to discuss the company's third quarter 2005 business and preliminary financial performance following the NYSE market close on Thursday, December 1, 2005. As previously disclosed, the company will not release full third quarter 2005 financial results until the completion of further control work. The conference call will begin at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time.
