GE Commercial Finance, Business Property's Josh Berde- Lender of the Year

Evergreen Community Development Association has named Josh Berde of GE Commercial Finance, Business Property, Washington's Lender of the Year for the fiscal year 2004.

Evergreen, the Northwest's largest CDC, chooses awardees based on the year's total loan volume. Berde's distinction came as a result of securing five SBA 504 loans totaling more than $9 million in loan volume. The 504 lending program is designed to support small business growth and job creation. This translates to the creation of more than 53 jobs for the state of Washington.

James Morehead, regional manager for GE Commercial Finance, Business Property, said, "We are extremely proud of Josh. This award is a testament to his hard work and dedication to finding the best financing solutions for his customers."

Berde's success has helped contribute to the growth of Business Property in the Northwest. Recently named Lender of the Year for the Pacific Northwest, Business Property has grown more than 50 percent each year in total loan volume since 1999.
