Mortgage Lenders Network USA Takes Mystery Out of Mortgage Loan Shopping with New Consumer Web Site

22 December 2005

Mortgage Lenders Network USA, Inc. (MLN), one of the top originators and servicers of specialized mortgages in the country, today launched http://www.mlnapproves.com, a new Web site for consumers seeking to apply for a mortgage loan and obtain financial tips and advice.
"Since our company's inception nine years ago, we've relied on brokers and wholesalers to build our business and sell our services. We're now looking to reach out and appeal to a much wider audience -- all home owners, and potential home owners, across the United States," said Mitch Heffernan, president and CEO of MLN.
According to Heffernan, approximately 20 percent of MLN's annual revenue is directly earned through consumer transactions. "Our goal is to double our retail business by January 2008."
At the new Web site, consumers can view various educational resources, such as the U.S. Housing and Urban Development's (H.U.D.) mortgage glossary, mortgage insurance information and MLN's "Guide to Homeownership." The site also includes detailed background information about MLN and the company's professional mortgage consultants. Visitors can apply for a loan online or schedule an appointment with one of MLN's consultants.
"In addition to our competitive rates, most of our customers are extremely impressed by the 'consultative' approach we take to lending and customer service," said Renee Gilroy, Marketing Manager, MLN Retail. "Our professional mortgage consultants take every step necessary to help people understand all aspects of the loan process and feel comfortable and confident in their decision to pursue a loan. Our Web site was designed to encourage people to learn about all mortgage options available to them."
Customers are also impressed by the multitude of online calculators available on the Web site, says Gilroy. "By accessing the calculators, users can determine how much money they can borrow, how much their payment will be, what type of loan term to choose, and more."
"The entire MLN organization is undergoing exciting changes to accommodate our company's tremendous growth," says Heffernan. "We are enthusiastic and confident that the expansion of our retail offerings will help us to assist even more Americans in their pursuit of the American dream -- owning a home."
