Preferred Pricing and IP based Credit Card Processing Capability

27 January 2005

The California ISP Association (CISPA), the largest state association in the U.S. representing independent Internet service providers, announced today it is has Partnered with PowerPay, one of the nations fastest growing Visa/MasterCard Payment Services Providers. The partnership gives CISPA members an opportunity for preferred rates on payment card processing services as well as an opportunity to generate a recurring revenue stream by referring other business customers to PowerPay.

Mike Jackman, Executive Director of CISPA said, “This is an excellent opportunity for our members not only to save on their card processing costs but also to generate recurring revenue to offset their operating costs. As our members continue to aggressively target the small business community, having PowerPay as a provider enables them to respond to all of their business customers processing needs.”

PowerPay is a leader in high speed IP based payment card processing solutions, utilizing several platforms including PC based and IP configured POS equipment (including wireless). Stephen Goodrich, CEO of PowerPay said, “CISPA is a strategic partner we targeted to demonstrate our commitment to this market. We’re privately held with a veteran management team and staff. We outsource very little in order to maintain administrative control of all operational systems. This affords PowerPay the flexibility to approve more accounts, more quickly and at competitive rates, ensuring value to CISPA’s members”.
