Mike Thompson (CA-1st) will join the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank), Neighborhood Partners and local elected officials to celebrate affordable senior housing and view the construction progress at Eleanor Roosevelt Circle, a 60-unit senior housing project of Davis Senior Housing Co-op. Last fall, two Davis housing projects received grants for $806,000, part of the $1.6 million in funding that the projects received from the FHLBank's Affordable Housing Program (AHP). Cooperatives and mutual housing in Davis have received the largest AHP awards per capita than any other county in the United States. The Davis housing projects are examples of the affordable housing that public-private partnerships can produce through the AHP.
