Trio arrested over alleged credit card scam

Three men have been arrested over an alleged credit card fraud scam.

Police say the trio flew into Melbourne from Sydney on Saturday and used several fraudulent credit cards to purchase items at stores around the city.

Detectives raided a Melbourne hotel and arrested two of the men.

The third man was arrested at the airport as he was boarding a flight back to Sydney.

A large quantity of electrical goods, clothing, jewellery, mobile phones were seized by police.

The three men are due to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court later today.
