Washington Association of Mortgage Brokers Rally to Support First Place Schools

23 December 2005

The Washington Association of Mortgage Brokers (WAMB), the voice for Mortgage-related issues throughout the state of Washington, today announced that its King County Chapter, the largest in the State, has donated more than $15,000.00 to Seattle-based First Place Schools. This is the second year running that WAMB has made a significant contribution to First Place Schools, which serves the educational and social needs of homeless children and has a stellar reputation as a school and resource center for children and families in crisis.
"Our annual King County Holiday Party and Auction offers an ideal venue for WAMB members to give back to their community," stated Pat Naselow, president of WAMB. Naselow added, "We are extremely pleased at the level of support our members have dedicated to First Place Schools, and with the contributions that other chapters throughout the State have made to their local communities." For example, the Northwest WAMB Chapter raised more than $1,000.00 in donations for Northwest Harvest.
