Webcasts on Travel Security and Identity Theft for Female Executives

17 October 2005

Interactive webcasts on travel security and identity theft will be presented to women presidents of multimillion-dollar companies as part of an ongoing educational program this fall. The hour-long webcasts will consist of a presentation and live Q & A session. Wes Odom, senior vice president of operations at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, will present “Travel Security and Safety” on October 18 at noon (EST) to members of the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO). Zyg Gorgol, senior vice president of fraud risk management at OPEN by American Express, will present “Identity Theft” on November 10 at noon (EST) to WPO members. Marsha Firestone, Ph.D., president of WPO, will act as moderator for both webcasts.

“WPO is pleased to offer this program exclusively for our members,” said Firestone. “Travel security and identity theft are major concerns today. Our members look forward to hearing expert opinions and advice, as well as the opportunity to have their questions on the subject answered by specialists.”

About Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO):
The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) is a membership organization whose members are a diverse group of entrepreneurial women presidents who have guided their businesses to generate at least $2 million in gross annual sales or $1 million for a service-based business. Each WPO chapter of this nonprofit organization serves as a peer advisory group and empowers members to achieve increased business and financial success, as well as individual growth. Local chapters are coordinated by a professional facilitator who organizes meetings of the peer advisory group to focus on important business issues and cutting-edge business trends. The Women Presidents’ Organization is unique in that it connects top women entrepreneurs locally –and internationally – with greater personal and professional success. WPO member businesses have an average of $12 million in annual revenues, 113 employees and 18 years in business.
